Coraline in Morocco
It's quite possible this is my new favorite cowl pattern. Not to mention, this yarn is quite soft and the color just screamed sheer joy at me. My Red Heart Reflective was shipped to me and when I opened the box, I gasped. I gasped so deeply that I may have reversed a black hole somewhere in the universe. Nonetheless, we all survived, I completed a ton of orders and weeks later, I finally got to start swatching.
Here it is! My new favorite: Coraline in Morocco
Yes. It's CORAline, not Caroline. She travels solo and goes wherever the culture leads.
She doesn't crochet, but I'm sending her this cowl.
What I love about cowls is they can actually be crocheted using a simple rectangle pattern. Learn how to crochet anything with just rectangles here.

My daughter's name is Coraline! I think I have to love the entire line by default! (of course it helps that it really is a great set... Lol)

Greetings, Such a beautiful stitch pattern. How would I make a straight, rectangular scarf?

Thank you, Belinda! You would have to avoid the join and turn your work at the end.

I love the design, and intend to start it this week. However, I am a plus size woman. Do you have suggestions on the specific number of stitches necessary to add to keep the pattern right, or can I just add until it looks right?

Hi, Katherine ~ I designed this with the idea of being able to modify it easily. If you have any trouble at all, please feel free to contact me.
