Lily’s Sweetheart Cowl

Lily’s Sweetheart Cowl was designed on whim. I don’t know if it was the colors, the texture, or the gradient- perhaps all those things- that just called for it. It’s one of those pieces you just know someone is going to love every little bit about it and I can attest that Lily loves it! She is complimented everywhere she goes and after a year, she has requested I make it in another color- Cappuccino. This particular one was made using Red Heart E793.3965 Boutique Unforgettable Yarn, Candied.

Lily’s Sweetheart Cowl came to be just last year and was quickly accepted for publication. It has taken some time to post since my family relocated Fall-ish 2015. The boat is still rocking and I’m still unpacking and organizing my yarn. The system I had organized before is not working in this smaller space so I’m working on a new system. I’ll write about that in coming days. For now, let’s get to the pattern! I hope you enjoy it as much as Lily has. Please feel free to submit pictures of any works you have completed from my patterns. There is a link to submit in the menu.

Betty Zgames says, “I have made this one a couple of times. It always comes out nice.”

  • What's your take on #minimalism? .
Well, I realized my tote was cramming full of things I don't even need!
There were receipts and other stuff sitting at the bottom of my bag for the past few months. Ring a bell?
I knew I wanted to take the #minimalist route and this cute clutch is just perfect for starters.
Having a tote as small as this reminds me to only keep the essentials. .
