Coraline's Summer Crush Scarf by SimplyCollectibleCrochet.com

Coraline found herself in a bit of a whirlwind after her sister’s wedding last year and she’s continuing her sabbatical in South America. She hasn’t kept in touch much and she did apologize for not updating us. It seems she met someone special on the cruise ship on her way to Rio.

Coraline’s Summer Crush Scarf

Coraline's Summer Crush Scarf by SimplyCollectibleCrochet.com

Most of Coraline’s time has been spent writing and working on a local private property that raises laying chickens for sale and barter in Angra dos Reis. She says it is both gorgeous and serene. (Her new beau has extended his residency at a biological reserve nearby and they get to spend a few hours a week together. She is very fond of him and hinting she may be willing to modify her itinerary.)

She’s been on sabbatical nearly a year now without any hint as to when she will return home. Nonetheless, I’ve sent her this lovely scarf made from 100% silk. It’s light enough that she can wear it no matter the temperature.

Last Row - Coraline's Summer Crush Scarf by SimplyCollectibleCrochet.com

I hope you enjoy this pattern as much as I have. I’ll do my best to get pictures of it with Simply Soft. I’ve chosen a lovely shade of blue called Ocean that I can’t wait to see it in. First, must finish some ideas that are burning holes in my brain. Do you know that feeling?
