Everyday Bowl and crochet Basket pattern set – One Skein

Everyday Bowl and crochet Basket pattern set – One Skein

Don't we all love baskets of all types, shapes, and sizes? What is it about the containers themselves that we oogle and daydream over? Have you ever crocheted your own basket? Do you walk through the store aisles thinking of all the things you could store in a mix and match sort of way only to be deterred by the price? Well, don't be too discouraged because with this basket crochet pattern, you are only limited by your ability to mix and match yarn colors. Make as many as you desire for only the cost of yarn and a little “sweat equity.” (But it's not really sweat equity when it's crochet. It's more like “sweet equity.”)

Everyday Bowl and crochet Basket pattern

When Red Heart sent me this self-striping yarn to sample and I opened the box, it brought a big smile to my face. Little did I know just how stunning this colorway would play out. I started with a different style basket that didn't allow the colors to flow like this so when I started the small bowl you see pictured. I knew right away it would be a set! I'm totally impressed by the “washability” of this yarn and how light it feels in your hands. (Yes, I'm making up words now.) It is relatively soft for a worsted weight acrylic. I do believe I've found a new favorite! Aren't these colors outstanding?! This pattern is sponsored by Red Heart Yarns. Hope you enjoy it!
