Farmer's Market Bag Crochet Pattern

I’m always looking for ways to be more sustainable, which is why I was so excited to create this market bag pattern.

I often find that some more traditional crochet bag patterns can be a little dull or simple, so I wanted to create a bag pattern that would be unique – with a little character.

This is an intermediate pattern but don't be intimidated! If you’re interested in getting more practice with some of the skills you might need for this pattern, I teach everything from tension, gauge, magic ring and more in my Crochet Fundamentals course online. You can register for FREE to watch the video classes from the comfort of your home here.

This bag has a modern, boho feel and it’s designed to be both sturdy and stretchy to accommodate all of your shopping needs.

This market bag is a great alternative to a tote bag and is perfect for outings from shopping at the farmer’s market and grocery store to carrying along snacks on road trips.

It also makes a wonderful beach bag to hold towels, sunscreen, anything else you might need.

This bag takes a very little time to crochet up, and it’s all worth it! That is what I love about Done in A Day crochet Patterns. I love them so much I bundled together 90 (yes 90!) of my favorite Done In A Day Patterns here.

I’m in love with this pattern and have gotten nothing but compliments so I know you’re going to love it as much as I do!

Hi,

Just wondering if the Universal Cotton Supreme you used for this bag was in the Worsted or DK weight?

Thanks
