Desert Hope Slouch Beanie

Good news: beanies are back.  I mean, were they ever really out?

All I know is that beanies are popping up everywhere and I’m hopping on that bandwagon like there’s no tomorrow.

I love crocheting hats because they’re fun, easy, and can be made in high volume.

This slouchy beanie is a perfect option that works with virtually everyone’s style.

I personally hate when hats are too tight and slick your hair down.  That’s why this beanie pattern is perfect.

It has just the right amount of slouchy stretch to allow you to style it loosely without cementing your hair to your face.

Plus, the texture is a perfect mix of classic and contemporary.

This pattern is super simple and is great for all levels.  Plus, as a perk, it can be transformed into a messy bun hat as well.

2 styles with one pattern—it doesn’t really get much easier than that.

Here is what Michele Torella says about the Desert Hope Slouch Beanie:

“Love this pattern !!! Have made many, the girls at the bank love this one done in any of the sparkles yarns! Yes. I know it’s winter but here in Greenville, Texas it has not been too cold yet, so the girls love this hat done in lighter weight yarns. It’s even turn out wonderful done in Lion Brand Homespun yarn, This is one pattern that turns out great no matter what color or yarn you use!!”
