Ch 4, sl st in first ch to form a loop.
Row 1: Ch 3 (counts as first dc now and throughout), (2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in loop—6 dc + 1 ch-2 space.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, dc in same st, dc in next 2 dc, (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in ch-2 space, dc in next 2 dc, 2 dc in top of beginning ch 3— 12 dc + 1 ch-2 space.

You are correct, Victoria. They are similar. They both start the same, use the same yarn, and end up triangles! Hope you enjoy it. The color pooling is quite different between them.
