Hi Celina, I want to make one of these hats as a full beanie. I think I'm supposed to reattach my yarn to the circle at the top and then HDC 2 tog around until I close the hole is that correct?

Fantastic free pattern that could easily be sold for at least $5. To all the 'new' crochet pattern readers ~ don't ever feel like you're no good at crochet or that you'll never 'get it.' Even professional crochet artists and designers were new at some point! Just keep practicing and when someone mentions that they 'had to laugh at the comments' because you're a newbie, fugettaboutit! Just don't give up and soon it'll just CLICK. I promise.

Hi I just want to say I found this pattern easy and I am no pro. I have already made 3 for family and another 3 to sell for charity events I put on. I will be making at least one a day for a whike as it is enjoyable to make. To all the people who are so rude, I say use your common sense. I have adjusted where necessary to make for teens, o a p and me :-) Thank you for allowing us to do this free of charge I am sorry people can be so offensive, I think it is great, easy to follow & video instructions too. I have also added buttons or croche flowers and crochet up the hole for my mum who loves it at 93. Thank you so much xxx

Joann ~ Thank you so much for your feedback! I'm so glad the pattern has worked out so well for you! I do my best to assist others and it can be a challenge; but, I do have to remind myself that even the best professors have a hard time communicating with their students. Even the best of friends cannot comprehend how the other styles her hair. Your note is very uplifting. Thank you!

I've started this 4 times now and each time when I get to row 3 I realize there is a twist. What am I doing wrong??
