Soft Flyers free crochet pattern
Soft Flyers free crochet pattern makes the best pool toy, indoor frisbee golf, occupational therapy tool, toddler toy, man cave toy, picnic toy, even pet toy. (NOT intended to be a chew toy.) I originally made these Soft Flyers pictured here in 2010 when my son was almost 4 years old. It gets so hot in Texas that we tend to hibernate from June to September and we run out of activities. Not only did we need something to do, but his motor skills needed some work. I’d made some stuffed crocheted balls he played with, but at 4 yo, he needed more. So, ta-da! The Soft Flyer crochet pattern came to be. Below is a lovely picture that my sweet friend shared of her furr-baby loving on his. Using cotton and an H/8 hook, this is a simple pattern that works up in 20 minutes or less.
