Cozy Fall Shrug Crochet Pattern

Fall is finally here along with some amazing new Fall patterns.  One of the patterns that stands out the most this season is this beautiful shrug sweater.

The design is really creative. You can start by crocheting a basic rectangle. With some strategically placed seams, this simple shape turns into a beautifully draped shrug. It’s flattering and cozy, and perfect for strolling amongst the changing leaves.

One of my favorite details on this cozy sweater is the use of the delicate spider stitch. The whole base of the sweater is crocheted using it, and is surrounded by a subtle border.

The stitches are really enhanced thanks to the Ella Rae Seasons yarn the pattern calls for.  Ella Rae Seasons yarn is an acrylic/wool blend that has a subtle color gradient in each skein. The colors really add dimension to your projects which makes it perfect for this women’s shrug sweater. I’ve even put together a crochet kit full of this yarn in White Cream Vanilla.

Every kit has 5 skeins of the yarn along with a digital pdf pattern you can print out and follow along to. You can grab a kit here to get started on your own Cozy Fall Shrug. It’s soft and goes with everything.
