Winter Flower Blanket Crochet Pattern
I don’t know about you, but I’m always cold. It’s become a running joke amongst my friends and family. I’m not sure what it is, but I make sure my house is full of blankets for this exact reason.
There’s something so comforting about a crochet blanket and it’s so much fun to make one. With all the crochet stitches out there, it’s easy to find a crochet pattern you’ll like. Whether it’s a throw for my couch or a crochet baby blanket for a friend, I never get tired of these simple projects. Check out my favorite crochet stitches that I have gathered in my personal crochet stitch library. I am sharing with you free for 2 days so you can learn them too!
The most recent crochet blanket design I’ve been working on is called the Winter Flower “Done in a Day” blanket. The whole blanket uses the crochet daisy stitch. It’s an easy pattern you can stitch up in a day, and enjoy immediately. It’s perfect for snuggling up in if you’re always cold like me.
I love that this blanket flower crochet pattern is really emphasized by the yarn. It crochets up quickly and has a multitude of colors mixed up in it. It’s the perfect choice for blankets and this particular pattern uses the color, Fresno. It’s a wintery blend of greys and purples and blues.
Need help with some crochet skills to help you make embellishments, the magic ring or 72 of the other skills that crocheters (and knitters) struggle with. I would love to start their blanket, but what is drst in the first row? That abbreviation is not in the list an I’m not familiar with it. Thanks for your help!

Beautiful blanket. What is the chain multiple if one wants to make this into a larger throw or spread? Or is that information on the ad-free pdf (if so, definitely will buy it!). Thank you!

Hey Jeff!
The pattern doesn't have instructions for larger sizes but you can totally adjust it to your preferred size.
This uses a multiple of 2 + 4 chains. (so an even number that's a minimum of 6) The first star takes 6 chs, each additional star takes 2 chs.
Hope this helps!
