Stitch Guide in American Terms
FHDC – foundation half double crochet
DC – double crochet

Ease – positive

Notes – This pattern is worked from the top down, back and forth in rows. Work 2 pieces and sew the sides and shoulders to complete it. This is not a traditional v-stitch. This modified v-stitch is made by working 2 dc in the space of the 2 dc of the previous row as you would a v-stitch, but do not chain. Turning chain counts as a stitch.

Special Stitches –
FHDC – (Foundation Half Double Crochet) Chain 1, yarn over, insert hook into the chain, yarn over, pull up a loop (3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull up through the first loop on the hook (this is your first chain loop, 3 loops on hook) yarn over, pull through 3. First FHDC completed. * Yarn over, insert your hook into the first chain loop, yarn over, pull up a loop (this is your second chain loop- 3 loops on hook), yarn over, pull through 3. 2 FHDC completed. Repeat from * until you reach the desired number of FHDC.
Here’s a video for the FHDC:
