You Made This!
Last month, You Made This!
I am absolutely loving this feature of my blog where you SUBMIT your photos of what you made from my crochet patterns.
Not only do we get to see your talents, but you get to tell us the materials you used and how you tailored my design to fit your needs and wishes. It is phenomenal to see what you are doing and these images are like a HUGE virtual HUG to me! Please keep them coming.
This is also an opportunity for vendors to show what they are making from my patterns and listing in their shops. When you send an image, you may give me a link for people to contact you or find you on the cyber webs.
Now, let's take a look at the fabulous things you created!
Want to join in the fun and send in your photos? Click the SUBMIT tab at the top. You may even choose to be anonymous. The only rule is that your photo must be from one of my patterns – free or paid.
“I used I Love This Cotton yarn from Hobby Lobby and made this as a toddler infinity scarf. I love how it turned out! It's simple, airy, and so pretty!“
Kim makes the Sturdiest Ever Market bag – free crochet pattern
“Crocheted up quick and easy and looks great!”
“I used Lily Sugar n Cream in Faded Denim. The pattern is easy to follow and makes a wonderful bag! It's stretchy, sturdy and comfortable to carry. I use it at the farmer's market.”
“I followed the pattern exactly for my first one. The only thing I did differently was to add a row of single crochet around the handles to use up the last of the yarn. I love that it can be used as a backpack. The strap length is wonderful! I also loved that it was all done in one piece.”
MadHatterzDesigns makes the Coraline in Minden Oversized Cowl Wrap – free crochet pattern
“It worked up so quickly. It's an absolute gorgeous cowl/wrap.”
“The only thing I did differently on the hat is I added a row in the end and worked an increase into every 4 stitches to give the hat a more sun hat flare. I loved the pattern, it was fun to work up! It was super quick to work up! I was able to make this last minute in a short period of time =) (and it's cute!)”
“I followed the pattern directly, it was my first time using it; I did the newborn size, I made it for my son who will be born in June. How quickly it made up, I was done within an hour and a half! (and that was with a snack break, lol)”
Congratulations, Colie G!
Brigette Fancy makes the Cowl Hooded Poncho – free crochet pattern
“I used six skeins of Lion Brand Homespun Thick & Quick in Wild Fire, with a US size P-15 (10 mm) hook. Being a bigger gal, I followed the instructions for the “full size”, and when the increasing started I increased every row, making it to 41 rows before I ran out of yarn. It ended up being the perfect length for me (I'm 5'6″ tall). This pattern was easy to follow, works up relatively quickly, and even those new to crocheting could make this easily! I'm debating making a multi color version now! :)”
Thank you to everyone who submitted last month!
